Week 2 – The Proposal

This week we were tasked with submitting the project proposal. The proposal was due at the end of the week; however, we gave ourselves a deadline of Thursday at 5pm to submit it, in order to make sure we have everything in proper shape before meeting with Fatemeh, our graduate lab fellow.

In tackling the proposal, we once again decided to split the work up between the five of us. This made it easy for us to complete it quickly and in doing this we were able to help each other if someone faced a problem. We finalized a building and shake table design and added a drawing of the building design to the proposal. We were also able to finalize the bill of materials which was added to the proposal as well.

On Friday, April 17th, we met with Fatemeh to go over our proposal. We were ecstatic to find that she was impressed with it and only found minor corrections we had to make.

All in all, another successful week for the team.
