Week 1 - Planning

For week 1, the goal was to brainstorm ideas with the team and setup the project website. Our team met twice to begin brainstorming ideas. First, we each went over the syllabus and all the course documents in order to make sure we had a fair idea of the task ahead of us.

We decided that the most effective way to get the work done would be to distribute the load among ourselves. The areas to be distributed were:

1. Research

2. Design

3. Build and Test

4. Analysis of Data

5. Website Design

6. Website updates

We also decided to meet via Zoom at least once a week in order for us to get through this project as smoothly as possible and also because we believe that good communication is the key to success when working as a team.

During our second meeting, we discussed several aspects of the project proposal and the website weekly posts which are as follows:

1. Graphics are crucial for weekly updates to communicate ideas more efficiently.

2. All materials and help that are expected to be used will be included in the project proposal but are prone to changes during the course of the project.

3. All final materials and help used will be reported to our website.

4. Everything needs to go into the project proposal, that is, any ideas in mind, every predicted events that may or may not happen and so on.

5. Finally, in case of complete lock down during that period, we have a backup plan which consists of using household items for the shake system.
